Hee hoo Vatos!

Hello all you new clubbers. Vatos had a blast last sunday. I was feeling a bit sorry for them Almerians. First you life in Almere and then you get pounded with a zillion to four (21?-4) by some Vatos from Amsterdam. They must be glad they are  not in our poule. Still there were reasons to cry on our side as well. The bummer on our side happened before the game even started. Wout tried to look professional after not throwing a baseball around for months, but his knee objected. He'll be on the DL most of our virgin year. Snabel threw a nice few innings, Bubba struck out and decided to return the (multiplied) favor by stepping on the mound and fanning some Almersters. Weedz thought 110 meters is nothing when he trotted to second base on a fly ball heading for the fence in leftfield. Clyde thought he needed some exercise so he sent him stumbling home. I think it's gonna be one hell of a year!

Melle will be pitching an 10 1/2 inning perfect game before Knip fumbles the ball on a strikeout pitch.

Jeroen will be catching most of the games this year.
